Help assistant
Ask a question
This assistant answers from our public docs; we keep the conversation to help you and to learn what customers want; a person reads anything that needs a decision; we do not offer a round-the-clock human SLA today; we do not use these chats to train public foundation models.
How to reach us

Use sales for Phantom Engine on machines you own — $799 per node, or Phantom Engine Enterprise when you need proof and process on top. Use hello for Gate trials and Optics questions. Use security for disclosures. Send the form or open your mail app — every address below is live.

Common questions
- Does Optics read my prompts or conversations?
- No. Optics records where an agent connects — host, size, process, and time — and does not store prompts or completions.
- What is the difference between Optics, Gate, and Phantom Engine?
- Optics helps you see where agents go. Gate applies the rules you set on the wrap you already run — it can stop a destination, strip sensitive details before they leave, or put a hard limit on spend. Phantom Engine protects Linux machines you enroll, including when a process never hit that wrap.
- How do I install Optics?
- Start on the docs page: one CLI install, wrap the agent, export a proof. No account required.
- When do I need Gate instead of Optics alone?
- When you want those rules to stick even when nobody is watching. Gate is listed at $499 per month after a 14-day trial; start with hello@.
- When do I need Phantom Engine?
- When you need a stop on Linux you own. That purchase is $799 per governed node per month and includes enforce on that host. Talk to sales. Customer-hosted today.
- What happens when something needs a person?
- Approvals that need a person wait for a named human. Credits, legal risk, and flipping Phantom Engine protection off stay with a person. We do not offer a round-the-clock human SLA today.
- Do you hold SOC 2 or FedRAMP today?
- No. Framework mapping and evidence support an assessment. Formal certifications are a separate program. Detail lives on /compliance.
- How do you handle privacy?
- Optics is built so prompts and completions are not stored. Website contact and the support assistant are used to answer you, run the business, and learn what customers want — not to train public foundation models. Full text on /privacy and /terms.
- I already run a pilot. Where is my ticket?
- Sign in at /portal with the invite your Vantio contact gave you, then open Support.
