Solutions · Robotics and drones

The companion computer, never the machine.

Vantio protects Linux hosts that agents and planners run on. It does not own motors, safety loops, or clinical or vehicle certification. That boundary is the whole page.

Available today

If a planner or agent stack runs on Linux you own and enroll, the same Optics and Phantom Engine path that exists today can apply to that companion computer. That is host control on Linux, not control of the robot.

Roadmap

Robotics companion computers, drone compute, industrial gateways, vehicle-side compute, and physical-effect authorization are research and design targets. Vantio has no robotics, drone, industrial, or vehicle deployment, and does not control motors, flight, or braking.

What you are actually trying to do

The interesting software on a robot is usually not the motor loop. It is the Linux box beside it — the planner, the perception stack, the fleet server — that talks to models, tools, and networks.

That is the only place Vantio is even aimed. An injected instruction, a spawned shell, or an unexpected destination on that companion computer is an agent-control problem. The flight controller, the motor controller, and the brakes are not.

We do not have a robotics, drone, industrial, or vehicle customer. Simulation is not a deployment. If you are looking for a functional-safety product, this is not it.

Where this is aimed

Available todayLinux companion computers you own and enroll
If the brain next to the machine is Linux you enroll, Phantom Engine can hold the execution envelope on that host, and Optics can watch supported agent paths running there. That is the same product as any other enrolled Linux box.
RoadmapRobotics, drone, industrial, and vehicle deployment
There is no such deployment. The authority model is designed with those companion computers in mind. It has not been validated on them, and it does not extend to physical effectors.

What this is not

These are hard non-claims, not leftovers.

  • Physical safety, flight control, motor control, or braking
  • Functional-safety certification
  • Control of the DDS bus, PLC safety logic, or an implant or vehicle safety loop
  • A claim that Vantio protects drones or robots as a shipped product

The same list in product language: Universal endpoint protection; Windows or macOS host enforcement; Control of every process on a machine; Physical safety, flight control, motor control, or braking; Functional-safety certification; Control of all network destinations.

What stays true regardless

  • You own the policy. Vantio does not decide what your agents are for.
  • You set the level of autonomy, and you can turn it down at any time.
  • You can revoke a capability, and the enforcement point stops honoring it.
  • You can export the evidence and take it with you.
  • There is no hidden Vantio remote override on your infrastructure.
  • Independent safety systems keep the authority they were designed with. Vantio does not replace an interlock, an e-stop, or a local controller.

If the interesting computer is Linux, start there

We will not pretend this is a robotics product. If you have a Linux companion computer running agents, the present path is the same as any other enrolled host.
